A Set of 6 vintage painted oak ladder back chairs with inset rush seats; painted in lightly distressed

pale cream; these chairs have a typical shaped form comprising front cabriole legs ending in snail feet and rear spayed legs united by a turned and tapered “h” stretcher; featuring a shell carving to both the top rail and seat down stand, these traditional country chairs are in good solid original condition with wear commensurate with age.
